Eisuke Akamine was a direct student of Taira Shinken and was also his senior student.
Akamine was the second Presidente of Ryu Kyu Kobudo Hozon Shinkokai and maintained this position until his passing.
Like his teacher, Taira, he was also interested in preserving the ancient art of Kobudo for future generations.
In this DVD, which was shot in the 1960s by Mr. Taiju Lee, you will se Akamine Sensei perfoming many of these katas he learned directly from Taira Sensei.
There is also a short interview with Mr. Lee about this training with Akamine Sensei which is followed by Lees demonstration of the forms learned from Master Akamine.
